Lufo at the Knospen & Beton Exhibition

The exhibition “Knospen & Beton” will take place between the 12nd and the 23rd of March 2025… And Lufo Art is part of it! That’s right my dear reader, after closing 2024 with the amazing experiences at the Macro Art Dot and the Come to Grinch with Us exhibitions, now I have the opportunity to open 2025 with a new shared exhibition. Thus, I will be exhibiting: Sulle Corde di Aria Sulle Corde di Aria, acrylic on canvas, 120×90 cm © Lufo Art, 2024 Sulle Corde di Aria is the biggest painting I have ever done on canvas. Overall, I tend to do more details as big as the canvas. Still, I limited the artwork to a simple expression and only one human figure in this case. Additionally, the canvas’ size still means a lot: the sensation experiencing the artwork in real life is far more intense than in a picture. Indeed, it feels like the whole painting is either sucking you down or pulling you up. What’s your sensation? Set Me Free Set Me Free, acrylic on canvas, 50×60 cm. © Lufo Art 2024 I painted this artwork with acrylic colours on a 50×60 cm canvas. In particular, I used a very singular palette of warm tones and high intensity, with cold shadows that generate contrast and detachment. The artwork presents you two paths: first, an infinite stair, from which we can’t escape (set me free!!!). The second, is a stair that will bring you up, but before that, it will dive you deep down to the burning black hole. Which path would you like to take? Be carefoul, the up/down stair is dematerialising, so you don’t have all your life to decide. A Shadow Without A Wizard A Shadow Without a Wizard, ink on canvas, 50×70 cm., © Lufo Art, 2024 The story goes that Amelie asked me for the Come to Grinch with Us exhibition a handmade copy of A Wizard Without a Shadow. The original Wizard is DIN A5 (21 x 10.5 cm.), but this had to be in 50×70 cm. However, I couldn’t image myself copying or tracing the artwork. I just couldn’t do it. Instead, I just did another drawing, certainly similar, based, inspired on the Wizard. The result is quite an impactful ink on canvas drawing in black and white, with many details and dreamy scenes. The Knospen & Beton exhibition The exhibition Knospen & Beton, curated by Studio Unbekannt (by Amelie Degendorfer) and Tendermesh (Savanna Fortgang), will be held at the Erster Erster gallery (Pappelallee 69, 10437, Berlin). he event will showcase 17 artists presenting over 50 artworks including paintings, drawings and sculptures. Check out the exhibition’s catalogue here 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 Things to remember 👉🏻 EXHIBITION 📅 12 to 23 March, 2025 📍 Erster Erster (Pappelallee 69, 10437, Berlin) 👉🏻 VERNISSAGE 📅 14 March, 2025 ⏰ 17:00 to 23:00 But tell me dear reader, Which artwork would you buy if you could? Lufo at the Come Grinch With Us Exhibition

The “Come Grinch With Us” exhibition will be held between the 3rd and the 10th of December 2024… And Lufo Art will be part of it! Yay!  That’s right my dear reader, after the amazing experience with the Macro Art Dot exhibition, I am ready for a new shared experience in the art scene of Berlin. Will you Come to Grinch with Us? In this case, I will exhibit 6 new artworks, never shown before, among which you can find: Sulle Corde di Aria Sulle Corde di Aria, acrylic on canvas, 120×90 cm © Lufo Art, 2024 Sulle Corde di Aria is the biggest painting I have ever done on canvas. Rudolph Deconstructed Rudolph Deconstructed, acrylic on canvas, 30×30 cm © Lufo Art, 2024 This artwork is a playful exploration of the technique of acrylic paint on canvas. Basically, I threw together a few elements here and there and painted some paradoxical situations in between. Then, I experimented with the acrylic colours to see what kind of effect I could achieve. However, what do you think of it? Furthermore, if you would like to dive deeper on Rudolph Deconstructed check this page entirely dedicated to it. Upon what Upon What, acrylic on canvas, 30×30 cm © Lufo Art, 2024 Upon What is also an experimentation like Rudolph Deconstructed, but this time I choose to put less elements in game. Indeed, I focused the whole artwork in this infinite staircase, the paradoxical visual effects like M. C. Escher used to do.  Io vivo quasi in ciel… (ma non ci arrivo mai) Io vivo quasi in ciel, oil on canvas, 30×30 cm © Lufo Art, 2024 This, my dear reader, is my very first oil painting! “Io vivo quasi in ciel… (ma non ci arrivo mai)” translates as “I live almost in heaven… (but I never get there)”. The first part is a passage of La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, which I was listening to during the creation. Indeed, this inspired me to create a visual paradox of just a few elements. In fact, this is a game of perspective to find where heaven is, because either if you go up or down, you’ll never reach anything but the origin. The Come Grinch With Us Exhibition The exhibition Come Grinch With Us, curated by Studio Unbekannt (by Amelie Degendorfer), will be held at the Erster Erster gallery (Pappelallee 69, 10437, Berlin). The program includes 16 artists presenting over 100 artworks between paintings, sculptures, clothing, jewellery and much more! Check out the artists’ catalogue here 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 Also, there will a fashion show and an Aztec dance during the day of the vernissage. Of course, there will also be some nice drinks and the best company ever to warm up these days. However, there is no way that we could do this without your presence, so, come and Grinch With Us!  Things to remember 👉🏻 EXHIBITION 📅 03 to 10 December, 2024 📍 Erster Erster (Pappelallee 69, 10437, Berlin) 👉🏻 VERNISSAGE 📅 06 December, 2024 ⏰ 17:00 to 23:00 But tell me dear reader, Which artwork suits your mood? Lufo at the Macro Art Dot Exhibition

Dear followers of Lufo Art and art lovers, this time I will present my artworks at the first exhibition of the Macro Art Dot project from 21st to 27th of November. In particular, I will showcase three variations of “Was ist jetzt an der Zeit?”, one of my latest pieces. Hence, I’ll show you a preview and tell you a bit of their story. However, I still expect you to come and see them in real life! Genesis version First version of “Was ist jetzt an der Zeit” To begin with, the conception drawing, made in ink and painted with watercolours in a DIN A4 (21×29,7 cm) paper. As a matter of fact, I drew it almost entirely this year in Wittenberg during my birthday trip. Thus, this first version holds special significance for me. Variation Nº 3 Alternative scheme made with acrylics on canvas. Secondly, the first alternative version I have ever painted with acrylics on canvas. Thus, this version marks a shift in my approach to art media. In addition, the artwork has 42 x 59,4 cm, and the base drawing was digitally printed at the Coloro Mystic gallery. Variation Nº 4 Alternative version Nº 4 Meanwhile, I painted this alternative with watercolours in a DIN A4 (21×29,7 cm) paper. In detail, the paper is 300 grams recycled, and the outline digitally printed.  In addition, this alternative was inspired by the first alternative version, which I gifted to Li Anna. Moreover, Li also wrote about it. The concept In brief, “Was ist jetzt an der Zeit?” conceptualises the immersion in that one, unique instant in which we feel alive. Thus, present in this very space and time. Hence, the question of what is timely now, what should I do? Therefore, who am I? On the other hand, this work also prompts reflections about identity and purpose. In essence, I invite you to dive with me in this question through an endless game of perspectives. Furthermore, I dare you to jump on this dynamic picture of the thousand possibilities we have for every choice that we have. The Macro Art Dot Exhibition In particular, the event (curated by Maja Neuhaus) will be held at the Waschhaus Köpenick, Berlin. Furthermore, it will provide a platform for diverse artistic perspectives. Additionally, it offers a chance to explore the works of more than 40 artists, starting on the 21/11 at 17:00.
