Mein Herz in Flammen

Mein Herz in Flammen represents the imminence of when something is about to happen. In other words, you know that moment when something important is about to unfold, but nothing has happened yet? That moment of calm before the storm breaks? Well, that’s exactly what I wanted to do here. That’s why that kind of needle is almost touching the black hole. That’s why the flames burn upwards and consume everything.

The white strips come from an experiment in which I tried a new type of adhesive tape, more delicate and specific for watercolours. I did it on the recommendation of A., who taught me that and many other nice and useful things during my creative meetings in Berlin, so thank you A.!
