  1. Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this email finds you well. I am Ramazan Demirci, currently a senior student in the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Erciyes University, located in the city of Kayseri, Turkey. l have been awarded a grant within Erasmus+ KA 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals from my university, offering a traineeship from two-months to twelve months period until 2025.

Unlike regular undergraduate students, as a retired senior colonel from the Turkish Air Force, I turned to art, which has been a childhood dream of mine. Recognizing art as an illuminating tool for societies, after retirement I chose this path aiming to pursue these studies at an academic level. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have mainly focused on the sustainability of cultural values, establishing context, and identifying continuity between the past and the future. In this context, I have presented my work in 4 group exhibitions and 1 solo exhibition. My solo exhibition received an encouragement award from TÜBİTAK, a highly reputable institution in Turkey, and the works culminated in the exhibition titled “Stories of Anatolia.” Thanks to my eligibility for the Erasmus exchange program offered by my university, I aim to elevate my art to higher levels by blending the art strategies, tools, methods, and practices applied in your university’s department of painting with the promotion of our local cultural values to an international level and also explore the local culture in order to turn them into art work from my point of view. In this regard, I am eager to participate in workshop activities, academic research, and make the most of my internship program in collaboration with you.

I have attached my curriculum vitae for your perusal and would be immensely grateful for the opportunity to train at your department for a minimum of two months. I would like to present you with an example of my work attached to this email. I eagerly anticipate a positive response from your end.

    Yours faithfully,

    Ramazan Demirci

      Dear Ramazan Demirci,
First of all, I congratulate you for your studies and the new orientation you have chosen for your life after retirement.

Regarding your request, interested as I am sure your work is, I regret to tell you that I cannot host you: Lufo Art is a one-single-person business hence it cannot hire any kind of assistant or internships.

Anyway, I appreciate your interest in Lufo Art, and if you come to Berlin you are more than welcome to visit our store.

      Best regards,
